The Secular Franciscan Order (OFS) is a secular movement, established by St. Francis of Assisi more than 800 years ago, approved by the Pope, and open to all lay men and women, who are practicing Catholics. Secular Franciscans follow one rule: To Live the Gospel and Bring the Gospel to Life. Lay Franciscans include people living a single or married vocation. We work, worship, and socialize in the community where we live.
