Funeral Liturgy Planning

Thank you for your interest in planning a funeral at Holy Spirit.

You are welcome to call the Funeral Coordinator to make an appointment to discuss the funeral arrangements.

It is very helpful if you are able to download the Funeral Planning Guide and come to the meeting prepared with three items:
reading selections, music selections and personal information about the person for whom you are planning the funeral.

Please refer to pages 11-16 for Old Testament (OT) readings and pages 17-28 for New Testament (NT) readings.

Please refer to page 30 for approved Music Selections. If you have other music that you would like instead of some of the selections listed, please write the name of the selection on the Funeral Options Worksheet on page 31 and discuss it at your meeting with the Funeral Coordinator.

Also, please refer to page 32 for a description of personal information about the deceased person that would be good for the priest to know when creating the homily for the funeral.
