- To teach the youth how to pray
- To provide a space where youth can wrestle with questions about the Faith
- To encourage fellowship, where youth can find lifelong Catholic friends.
- To promote the Sacred Tradition, Scripture, and Doctrines of the Catholic Faith.
- To live a life dedicated in service of God, the parish, and the community.
- To help students to discern their vocation in life. (Priesthood, Religious Life, Marriage, Single Life)
Why is Youth Ministry Important for my Child?
Youth Ministry provides a place for middle and high schoolers to delve deeper into their faith, take it as their own, and deepen their living relationship with the LORD. Jesus sent His disciples out two by two (Lk 10:1 RSVCE), and youth ministry provides a place for youth to find Catholic friends to support them on their journey to becoming a saint. Youth Ministry equips youth to be strong in their Faith and lead others to Christ Jesus. Youth are a vibrant, important part of our Church in the here and now, and it is our responsibility to help them on this journey.
